Help us celebrate the end of summer at a venue that opened just before the pandemic began. We’re planning on paying our own way, and we ask that all attendees come prepared to spend a little something. The restaurant is extending happy hour pricing for the duration of our event!
We’d also love to hear what educational topics you’re interested in going forward, so bring those ideas. We will have a maximum of 25 people at this event, so register early!
If you register and aren’t able to attend, please cancel (via Eventbrite or email) at least 24 hours in advance so the venue can plan staffing levels.

After a year of significant uncertainty, we’ll take time to reflect on the impact of the pandemic through the lens of post-traumatic growth (PTG). PTG is “the transformative positive change that can occur as a result of a struggle with great adversity.”
People who make meaning out of adversity report an increased sense of their own ability to prevail, better relationships, and greater senses of belonging, compassion, purpose, and appreciation for life.
DDAP member Lisa Liss will facilitate and guide us towards identifying our “narrative compass,” which gives us direction about how to move forward with what we have learned. This is a low pressure exercise and you will not be expected to share your thoughts with the group unless you feel compelled to. This is an exercise for you and your personal journey.
